The traffic light system

Everything LVL Nine communicates about service health uses a single, consistent colour system. Customers learn it once and understand it everywhere — status pages, incident emails, support portal, and Slack notifications.

Green — Operational
System working normally or confirmed resolved. No action needed from customers.
Amber — Investigating
Something is off. LVL Nine is aware and working on it, or action may be needed.
Red — Incident
Confirmed incident, blocked service, or critical security alert. Check the status page for updates.
Rule: Never use amber or red for anything that isn’t a real service issue. These colours carry meaning. Overusing them destroys trust.
